This is a very inexpensive strategy if they are one-deep. It will really brighten up your store as well.
2) Move all overstock and back stock merchandise to the sales floor. Start by adding shelves along the top of gondolas. Fill those shelves with the merchandise you would have placed in your backroom. Be sure to remove the items from their shipping containers so the customers can see the merchandise. 3) Purchase extra quantities of items that sell quickly. This is especially effective whenever those items are on sale from your suppliers.
